Make in Africa is Africa only and runs year-round. Its focus is practical: building more of what Africa uses and sells, in Africa. That focus, not marketing language, is what sets us apart from a typical conference series.

Built Into the Mission, Not Just the Slogan
Every programme, committee and Summit session serves one aim: more value, jobs and technology made in Africa. Decisions reflect the continent's shared interest.
Connected Across the Regional Communities
We link initiatives across ECOWAS, SADC, EAC, COMESA and beyond rather than running them in isolation, so progress in one region compounds across the rest.
Every Member Has a Stake
Makers, professionals, enterprises, institutions and governments all have a place. Every voice, from young leaders to established industry, has a real path to take part, not just a seat in the room.
Continuity Between Editions
Because the movement runs all year, our work on skills, finance and industrial policy continues between Summits rather than resetting each January.
Structure Creates Delivery
Working groups and expert committees force real collaboration. It is not optional, it is how Make in Africa runs.
Shared Leadership, Shared Risk
Because the movement draws on many countries, sectors and partners rather than one, it is built to withstand the shocks that hit single-source institutions harder.
Make in Africa will keep score and publish who delivers: governments, investors, partners and ourselves. We work in partnership with GSEF and WSSH Australia. Join a movement where the mission is shared because the work is shared.
The Make In Africa Global Summit (MIAGS) is a global platform connecting leaders, businesses, investors, institutions and policymakers shaping the next era of economic growth across the Global South and Africa.
MIAGS advances South–South cooperation, trade, investment, industrialization, technology, infrastructure and economic resilience, creating platforms for dialogue, strategic partnerships and cross-border opportunities.
Our mission is to strengthen the Global South and Africa’s role in the global economy by connecting capital with opportunity, innovation with markets and economic priorities with action—while fostering a more connected, productive and influential economic future.
