Make in Africa goes beyond talk and events. We propose a Partner Charity Shops scheme and invite retailers and charities to take part. Shops that stock and sell African-made goods would give makers a route to market, and proceeds would support young makers. The scheme is a proposal, and its details will be shaped with those who join.

Retail with Purpose
We propose that partner shops stock goods made in Africa and direct part of their proceeds to skills and support for young makers. Shoppers would buy quality products and help the people who make them. The terms would be agreed openly with each retailer or charity that joins.
Retailers and charities are invited to stock and sell African-made goods. Proceeds would support young makers and help Africa build more of what it uses and sells. Write to us through the form to register your interest.
