Make in Africa expert committees turn member knowledge into position papers and committee reports that governments, the AfCFTA Secretariat and partners can act on. Reports are published here as they are completed.

Each committee works on one field, such as processing, energy, health or trade. Members choose the topics that matter most to African makers, draft together, review each other’s work and agree a final text. The aim is advice that is specific, honest and usable.
Committees start with real obstacles that members face, from tariff escalation on processed goods to weak standards recognition between countries. Topics are agreed with the movement's priorities in mind.
Members draft in working groups and test their claims against evidence. Drafts are reviewed by other members before anything is finalised, and no claim is made that cannot be supported.
Finished reports are shared with African governments, regional bodies, the AfCFTA Secretariat and partner countries, and used to prepare meetings and the Summit agenda.
Committee reports are added to this page as they are finished. Until then, members can take part in the committees that are drafting them.

Members take a seat on a committee and help set the agenda for the movement.
