Make in Africa works best when the bodies that already speak for African business stand beside us. Chambers, industry associations, trade bodies and professional networks, in Africa and abroad, can affiliate with the movement. Affiliation joins their reach and expertise to our shared goal: to make more of what Africa uses and sells, in Africa.

A Formal, Working Relationship
An affiliated association keeps its own identity, members and governance. It agrees to work with Make in Africa on common priorities such as value addition, intra-African trade, fair standards and skills. Affiliation is a partnership of equals. It is not a merger, and it does not speak for the association on its own affairs.
Shared Expertise, Shared Papers
Affiliates can nominate representatives to our working groups and expert committees. Together we draft position papers, test proposals against real conditions in each sector, and put clear asks to governments, regional bodies and partner countries.
Whether you represent manufacturers, processors, exporters, engineers or young founders, there is a place for your association. Apply to affiliate, join the working groups, and help turn Africa's resources and single continental market into African industry. Fees for membership tiers are on the Join page.
