Purpose
Leading the Charge on Climate and Industry
The Sustainability and Climate Action Council is powered by environmental and policy expertise from members across Africa, a continent with first-hand experience of both climate risk and climate solutions. Africa needs fair climate finance and clean technology to industrialise cleanly. The Council works with stakeholders and authorities to promote renewable energy, waste management and environmental preservation.

Championing Sustainability
- Promote Renewable Energy: Advocate for clean energy in homes, businesses and industry.
- Drive Waste Management: Work with local authorities on waste reduction and recycling systems.
- Enhance Climate Resilience: Develop strategies for disaster preparedness and risk reduction, and press for fair climate finance.
- Engage Stakeholders: Unite businesses, communities and governments around environmental sustainability.
