The Healthcare & Wellness Committee of Make in Africa works to build African capacity to make medicines, vaccines, diagnostics and medical devices. Its members are clinicians, health-tech innovators and public-health leaders who know the continent’s varied healthcare needs. Africa still imports most of what its health systems use. The committee presses for regional pharmaceutical manufacturing, health-tech solutions and better infrastructure, and asks partners for technology and licence sharing.
To make Africa a place where health products and services are designed, made and delivered at home, improving quality of life and community wellbeing.
Become a member of the Healthcare & Wellness Committee and help build a healthier, more self-reliant Africa. Join us to connect, collaborate and lead as the continent grows its own health industry.
